This home had a huge water damage and the homes entire first floor was gutted to the studs, all flooring upstairs removed, and drywall removed 2-4 feet up most walls on the second floor. We started with the repairs by removing the divide wall in the living area and installed a new beam to open the floor plan. Our customer chose new cabinets that we built and installed with new Quartz countertops. She selected a wood look porcelain tile for all flooring on the first floor.

This is the 2nd project with our customer. This time we were able to remodel this craftsman style home in Dana Point he had upgraded to. This home had so much character. The framing was true 2x6 rough sawn lumber. framed true and plumb. Hard to find these days. We removed a couple non structure walls to really open up th space in the kitchen and, now, dining room. The custom glaze colored cabinets, dark charcoal island, and the marble countertops, by far are amazing. White subway tile, wood look tile flooring throughout, and some custom LED lighting features finished it off.

The first phase of this project was to remodel the bedrooms and bathrooms. The customers liked what we did and gave us the opportunity for the room addition and remodel of the main living area. With the approved plans we added on, and extended the area. New windows, custom kitchen, added a fireplace, updated all plumbing and electrical. The final result was an amazing transformation of a new wide open floor design with exposed beams. This made the open floor plan so great, and by adding just a couple hundred square feet of floor space.

Our customers gave us the opportunity to remodel the entire home they had just purchased in Irvine. Epic built a new custom kitchen and changed the original layout completely. We added an island with bar stool niche, marble countertops and backsplash, new LED lighting throughout. Engineered hardwood flooring and carpet throughout. Additional cabinets and serving station was added to the nook with LED lit upper curio style cabinets, and roll-out pantry storage. A beautiful custom fireplace surround was built to replace the painted brick in the living room, and a beautiful hexagon limestone mix tile added a nice texture of colors. The Powder room got a custom built vanity with granite top, tile flooring and lighting. The Hall bath was upgraded with a new soaker tub, white tile surround, and custom vanity with limestone top. The Master Bathroom was a complete gut. We removed walls that had really closed off the space. A new custom tile shower and drop in soaker tub, pony wall with quartz waterfall edge, White 24x24 textured tile flooring really made the room feel so large. Grey vanity with linen storage, quartz top, and LED lighting brought the room to life.

The plan called for removing the partition wall that separated the living areas, and opening the floor plan. We installed a moment frame beam to support the second story with only a single pillar in the middle of the room. A new custom kitchen with quartz countertops gave us the modern look we were going for. New framing and ledger stone finished off the fireplace, new recessed can lights throughout, and engineered hardwood floors throughout the house.

Epic replace the dated fireplace surround by removing the old framing and marble tile. New framing, ledger stone fireplace surround, custom built stain grade mantel, limestone hearth. Drywall was repaired and painted around the area. Epic also replaced all the interior doors & new casing, & bi-fold closet doors throughout the home and bedrooms.

New custom kitchen with granite countertops and full backsplash. Complete over haul on the bathroom with Travertine tile shower, custom cabinetry, granite top, and relocation of the toilet. The fireplace is travertine tile with a custom maple mantle, and new engineered wood flooring throughout. The single light, obscure glass pocket doors allowed us to open the rooms up and not interfere with the new open floor layout. The finishing touches of the solid mahogany dutch front door, plantation shutters for the new windows, and dark stains, made this one cozy.

Finished up a 4 month remodel, done in 2 phases, of this single level home. The kitchen, 2 bathrooms, office, and 3 bedrooms were complete transformed. Brazilian cherry wood floors, Custom cabinetry, Quartz countertops were just some the things throughout this home. It also included a complete re-pipe of the house and new fixtures in all areas, including a whole house filtration system, and water softener.

Epic has done several projects with this family. We started with the Bathrooms, then the kitchen, now repairs from a water leak. I was given the opportunity to make some upgrades while doing the repairs for drywall, waiscot, and replacement of the wood floors. One upgrade that I am very happy with, was the fireplace. Megan thought out of the normal and took a chance on the basket weave marble tile. The final outcome is perfect. It is fun to get to do new things with color and texture.
