This home had a huge water damage and the homes entire first floor was gutted to the studs, all flooring upstairs removed, and drywall removed 2-4 feet up most walls on the second floor. We started with the repairs by removing the divide wall in the living area and installed a new beam to open the floor plan. Our customer chose new cabinets that we built and installed with new Quartz countertops. She selected a wood look porcelain tile for all flooring on the first floor.

This is the 2nd project with our customer. This time we were able to remodel this craftsman style home in Dana Point he had upgraded to. This home had so much character. The framing was true 2x6 rough sawn lumber. framed true and plumb. Hard to find these days. We removed a couple non structure walls to really open up th space in the kitchen and, now, dining room. The custom glaze colored cabinets, dark charcoal island, and the marble countertops, by far are amazing. White subway tile, wood look tile flooring throughout, and some custom LED lighting features finished it off.

Epic has worked in this home for 2 projects with more in the works. Not often do we find basements in Southern California but this craftsman home did. With the approved plans we added on, and extended the area. New windows, custom kitchen, added a fireplace, updated all plumbing and electrical. The final result was an amazing transformation of a new wide open floor design with exposed beams. This made the open floor plan so great, and by adding just a couple hundred square feet of floor space.

The Master Bathroom was a complete gut. We removed walls that had really closed off the space. A new custom tile shower and drop in soaker tub, pony wall with quartz waterfall edge, White 24x24 textured tile flooring really made the room feel so large. Grey vanity with linen storage, quartz top, and LED lighting brought the room to life.

The plan called for removing the partition wall that separated the living areas, and opening the floor plan. We installed a moment frame beam to support the second story with only a single pillar in the middle of the room. A new custom kitchen with quartz countertops gave us the modern look we were going for. New framing and ledger stone finished off the fireplace, new recessed can lights throughout, and engineered hardwood floors throughout the house.

I was given the opportunity to make some upgrades while doing the repairs for drywall, waiscot, and replacement of the wood floors. One upgrade that I am very happy with, was the fireplace. Megan thought out of the normal and took a chance on the basket weave marble tile. The final outcome is perfect. It is fun to get to do new things with color and texture.

We started with the complete repipe of the home, new custom kitchen, 2 complete bathrooms, wood flooring throughout.
